About Matt Laughlin

Matt Laughlin is a Catholic, husband, and father of four boys living in the mountains outside Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. A revert to the faith, he is a former licensed psychotherapist and now a coach devoted to helping Catholic men align their lives with God’s will.

Drawing on his professional experience and deep faith, Matt’s mission is to guide men to embrace Christlike manliness—a life marked by courage, humility, and love—and to reflect God’s glory in their families, businesses, and communities.

Inspired by Isaiah’s words, “I have set my face like flint” (Isaiah 50:7), Set Like Flint is more than a coaching framework; it’s a way of life for Catholic men striving to live with Christlike resolve.
